Starter text
#Template. This template is a starting point, not legal advice. Adapt it to your organisation, your contracts and the law that applies to you, and have it reviewed by a qualified professional before you rely on it.
Rules
- Lock your screen every time you leave your device (Windows key + L, or Control + Command + Q on a Mac).
- At the end of the day, store confidential papers and removable media in a locked drawer.
- Collect printouts straight away; use secure print where available.
- Shred confidential paper in the marked bins.
- Wipe whiteboards after meetings.
Why
Most information leaks are simple: a document left on a desk, a screen visible to a visitor. These habits remove that risk.
Shared desks and home working
When you hot desk or work from home, leave nothing behind at the end of the day, keep work papers out of sight of family and visitors, and position your screen away from windows and walkways.
Quiz
#Includes 1 quiz question; the answers are not published here. They are shown only in the app's requirement editor, to the person setting up the requirement, who can change them before saving.
- You leave your desk for a short coffee break. What should you do with your computer?
- Nothing, it is only a few minutes
- Lock the screen
Use it
#Edit a Confluence page, insert the Attestation Flow macro, open the requirement editor and pick the pack under Start from a policy pack. It fills the note and the due date; with a paid licence it also fills the re-acknowledgement window, the minimum reading time and the quiz, and can add the starter text to the page. Required readers are never preset: you choose them.
